We are seeking a Technical Business Development Manager to join our team in Madrid, Spain.
What can you expect?
Generic Job Summary : Provide technical sales support for Vertiv E&I Switchgear and Busbar products, increasing awareness among key consulting engineers, contractors, and general contractors. Develop relationships within this customer group to provide critical insights on strategic projects and drive sales growth, focusing on key engineering firms, strategic clients, and large projects.
What will your average day look like?
* Represent Vertiv and cultivate relationships with engineering firms, contractors, and GCs.
* Provide sales leadership for large projects, including specification review, competitive analysis, pricing, and strategy development.
* Support key client engagements with technical guidance, concept development, and design reviews.
* Manage business accounts in collaboration with dedicated account managers.
* Attend industry events to raise awareness and present Vertiv solutions.
* Educate sales entities on system architectures.
* Coordinate with sales managers to align proposals with customer needs.
* Participate in customer visits and provide feedback for product improvements.
* Assist in account planning and engagement strategies.
* Deliver technical presentations at industry events to establish thought leadership.
* Maintain records of Vertiv's influence in key accounts.
Qualifications :
* Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field.
* Technical knowledge of Busbar and Switchgear products.
* Understanding of market dynamics and industry trends.
* Experience with large RFQs.
* Experience working with sales offices.
* Strong sales credibility and confidence in customer interactions.
* Excellent presentation skills, both in person and virtually.
* Minimum five years of industry sales experience.
