JOB SUMMARY: The HQ Energy & Facilities Management Executive will assist in the energy and facilities management of the company, working closely with Projects and Construction teams. They will also collaborate with other HQ departments, providing technical support for global projects such as IT, Marketing, Guest Experience, and Procurement.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
* Support the Building, Engineering & Maintenance team in improving energy management, focusing on efficiency, standards, and comfort.
* Benchmark energy consumption against best practices and corporate targets.
* Provide monthly energy performance reports with KPIs and analysis.
* Develop and implement energy efficiency action plans, conduct awareness programs, and monitor consumption.
* Assist with reviewing and negotiating energy contracts.
* Update installation design standards and incorporate new technologies for energy savings.
* Coordinate and update standards like acoustic guidelines and event technology.
* Support site inspections, energy audits, and property assessments.
* Collaborate on the design of installations and negotiate energy efficiency specifications for new projects.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in similar roles is highly valued. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical) or equivalent, with a focus on energy efficiency, is required. Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, energy audits, ISO 50001, and state-of-the-art energy technologies is essential. Fluency in English and proficiency in Office applications are required.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The candidate will work within a multidisciplinary team, reporting to the Energy Manager and Projects Engineering Manager. The role is based in Madrid, with frequent travel to project sites.
