What You Will Be Doing
As a Cash Equities Operations Analyst/Sr Analyst, you will be responsible for the integration, confirmations, and timely settlement of equity trades. This client-facing role offers opportunities for internal career growth. It requires adaptability in a dynamic, fast-paced environment to meet the changing needs of clients and the business.
You will:
* Be a reference point in a team responsible for the timely settlement of all equities transactions across global markets, adhering to various deadlines.
* Interact directly with clients to resolve trade issues and escalate as needed.
* Identify, analyze, and resolve issues throughout the trade lifecycle, collaborating closely with IT colleagues.
* Act as a subject matter expert and participate in system, process, and project development and implementation.
* Lead initiatives for process continuous improvement.
* Be prepared to take on broader team management responsibilities as required.
Experience
* Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
Education
* Post-secondary degree in business administration or a related field.
Skills & Knowledge
* Knowledge of equities products; experience in financial services; expertise in equities settlement.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (verbal & written).
* Ability to work in a structured, high-volume, time-sensitive, high-risk environment with a risk management mindset.
* Results-oriented with collaboration and team skills, prioritization, and attention to detail.
* Fluent in spoken and written English.
Additional Information
* Experience managing small teams and knowledge of Python programming are a plus.
* The position level will be determined based on the candidate's profile.
