Job Summary
We are looking for a professional responsible for supplier management for base/preferred suppliers. This includes Request For Quotation (RFQ), negotiation, contract management, and analysis of suppliers, competition, benchmarking, and spend. You will be responsible for supplier management in line with strategy, process, and KPIs for assigned suppliers, focusing on technical purchasing for processing and capital equipment projects.
The position can be based in San Fernando, Argentina. You may be required to travel 10% regionally. Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position.
What you will do
* Drive sourcing and contracting based on business needs in line with supplier management strategies.
* Ensure compliance with category strategy, supplier base plan, supplier management processes, contracts, and best practices.
* Participate in target follow-up and corrective actions.
* Ensure correct usage of relevant tools.
* Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, communicate results, and act as a proactive business partner.
* Work according to good practices and facilitate networking on site.
* Evaluate and follow up on suppliers.
We believe you have
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Finance, or Accounting.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in sourcing, contracting, and supplier base management.
* Fluent in Spanish; proficiency in English (verbal and written).
* Experience working with other markets or regions is a plus.
* Experience with SAP or ARIBA is a plus.
