Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Cloud Architect to design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures that align with our business and technical requirements. The successful candidate will create comprehensive architectural documentation, develop the organization's cloud strategy, evaluate and recommend cloud solutions, and ensure adherence to security and compliance standards.
Responsibilities
- Design scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures.
- Create and maintain architectural documentation for cloud solutions.
- Develop and refine the organization's cloud strategy aligned with business goals.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate cloud solutions considering technical requirements and costs.
- Implement cost-effective cloud solutions and monitor usage to optimize resources.
- Provide recommendations for cost savings and budget management.
- Ensure architectures follow security best practices and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with security teams to implement security measures for data protection and access control.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders about cloud solutions and benefits.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging cloud technologies.
- Continuously update skills and certifications to maintain expertise.
- Analyze complex technical requirements and propose effective solutions.
- Work closely with engineering and product teams within an Agile framework.
- Mentor junior team members.
Minimum Requirements
- Higher education or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields.
- Approximately 8+ years of relevant IT experience focusing on cloud architecture and design.
- Experience in similar roles related to cloud solutions.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional.
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.
- Ability to operate in complex technical environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach.
- Excellent English communication skills;
additional languages are a plus.
- Ability to work independently, proactively, and responsibly.
