Project
You will join an international software development project focused on the design, development and maintenance of a web-based platform that combines a virtual whiteboard and a secure document management system for patent documentation. The platform enables the visualization and management of patent documents while preserving the integrity of the original files, which cannot be modified. The solution includes both backend and frontend components and is developed following Agile methodologies and continuous delivery practices.
You will work in a multicultural, international environment, collaborating closely with technical teams and client stakeholders. English is the working language for all communications and documentation.
Responsibilities
* Act as Engagement Manager, owning the end-to-end delivery of the project and the client engagement.
* Lead Agile delivery, ensuring alignment between client expectations, scope, timeline and quality.
* Facilitate and guide Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily, Review, Retrospective).
* Plan, coordinate and track project activities using Scrum and Kanban frameworks.
* Manage and prioritize the product backlog in close collaboration with the Product Owner (client).
* Establish project milestones and ensure their achievement.
* Identify, manage and mitigate risks, dependencies and impediments.
* Ensure effective communication between backend and frontend development teams and client stakeholders.
* Monitor project progress, report Agile metrics and KPIs, and propose continuous improvement actions.
* Oversee incident, problem and change management during development and maintenance phases.
* Promote team autonomy, collaboration and continuous improvement.
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years of experience as Engagement Manager, Project Manager and/or Scrum Master in software development or maintenance projects.
* Fluent English (spoken and written) – mandatory for international client interaction.
* Strong experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
* Proven experience in Incident, Problem and Change Management.
* Solid understanding of software development environments, especially Java (Spring ecosystem, J2EE architectures) and Kubernetes (K8s), to effectively communicate with technical teams.
* Good knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and CI/CD processes.
* Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
