Technical Product Support Engineer

We´re expanding our team at Alén Space, and are looking for a Technical Product Support Engineer; with passion in what you do, talented and experienced; to be responsible for both assisting customers and providing first-level technical support. While the main focus will be on post-sales service, the role also involves reviewing and improving product manuals, particularly within the context of specific projects, to ensure that clients can make the most of our technology with minimal complications. This position requires close collaboration with the sales team, as it will be the visible face of the company during the post-sales phase, and also with the Product Owners, in order to gain an in-depth understanding of our products.
What you will be doing?
1. Learn to use our products by understanding how they are implemented and operated in real-world environments. To achieve this, the role involves continuous contact with product owners and the technical teams involved in product development.
2. Review and improve user documentation and manuals provided to clients, ensuring they are clear, consistent, and comprehensive.
3. Verify and validate the instructions included in manuals by executing them in real scenarios to detect any errors, inconsistencies, or potential improvements.
4. Support our clients during the post-sales phase by analyzing reported issues and ensuring they receive clear, fast, and effective responses.
5. Coordinate internal actions needed to resolve incidents, making sure the appropriate teams receive the correct information and act in a timely manner.
6. Provide training to clients on how to use our products, including both standard solutions and customized developments for specific projects.
7. Contribute to the continuous improvement of our products by relaying user feedback to the product team.
What do we need in our team
8. Technical background, preferably in Telecommunications Engineering or a related field.
9. Knowledge of deployment and use of embedded systems based on microcontrollers and SoCs.
10. Passion for technology and the ability to quickly learn how new products work.
11. Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical clients.
12. Proactive mindset, analytical thinking, and a strong focus on problem-solving.
13. Valuable but not mandatory: knowledge of electronics and radiofrequency (RF).

14. Work remotely for a percentage of time to be agreed upon with the Area Manager.
15. Flexible start/finish times; reduced intensive working hours on Fridays and in summer Monday to Friday.
