The Research in Kidney Affecting Diseases Group (REMAR) is seeking a support researcher technician for a short-term project focused on EV characterization by flow cytometry.
Main Responsibilities
The candidate will develop and optimize the characterization of extracellular vesicles from biological fluids and cell cultures using flow cytometry techniques. Responsibilities include cell culture, processing human biological fluids (mainly urine), EV isolation via size exclusion chromatography, and labelling and read-out of EV phenotypes using flow cytometry (Aurora, Cytek, or Symphony cytometers).
* Bachelor's and master's degrees in biochemical or chemical sciences.
* Fluent in English; knowledge of Spanish or Catalan is a plus.
* Basic knowledge of EV isolation and characterization techniques and advanced flow cytometry skills in Nanomedicine.
* Strong teamwork skills.
* Research experience post-MSc is highly valued.
* Good scientific writing and presentation skills.

* 4-month full-time contract.

* Gross salary: €20,600/year, paid in 12 installments.
