At Robert Walters, we are looking for a Chief of Accounting for an international industrial company based in Zaragoza.

Key Responsibilities :
* Apply IFRS, Spanish accounting standards, and local tax obligations.
* Supervise and evaluate daily accounting activities .
* Draft and maintain internal accounting policies and procedures .
* Review complex contracts and assess their accounting treatment and associated risks .
* Coordinate the year-end closing process with internal and external auditors.
* Ensure full compliance with all fiscal and tax obligations .
* Prepare financial statements, including cash flow statements.
* Improve accounting processes, tools, and systems to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial information.
* Collaborate closely with the finance team in areas such as financial planning, funding, and monthly / year-end closings .
* Report key financial information to shareholders in monthly, quarterly, and annual closings .
Requirements :
* Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field .
* 10+ years of experience in similar roles, ideally in the industrial sector .
* Solid knowledge of IFRS, Spanish tax regulations, and ERP systems (preferably SAP ).
* Intermediate level of English is a must; Mandarin Chinese is a plus.
* A versatile and autonomous profile, comfortable working both in startup-like environments and within multinational corporate structures.
