Lead Python Software Engineer, Commercial Systems

We are hiring a Lead Python Software Engineer for the Integrations team within the Commercial Systems unit. The team automates SaaS user management, onboarding of new data sources to the data mesh, and integrates internal and external data sources using open‑source ETL solutions.
Location
Remote within the EMEA region.
Role Responsibilities
* Develop engineering solutions leveraging Python.
* Collaborate with colleagues on technical designs and code reviews.
* Deploy and operate services developed by the team.
* Coach, mentor and provide career development feedback based on seniority.
* Develop and evangelize great engineering and organizational practices.
Qualifications
* Exceptional academic track record from both high school and university.
* Undergraduate degree in a technical subject or a compelling alternative narrative.
* Track record of going above and beyond expectations.
* Experience with software development in Python.
* Professional written and spoken English with excellent presentation skills.
* Results‑oriented, driven to meet commitments.
* Ability to travel internationally twice a year for company events up to two weeks.
Nice‑to‑have skills
* Performance engineering and security experience.
* Experience with Airbyte, Ranger, Temporal, or Trino.
