Role purpose
As an Experienced–Mid Level Business Consultant, you will work closely with internal teams and client leadership to translate complex business challenges into actionable and specific solutions, supported by data, analytics, and structured problem solving.
You will play a critical role in shaping business & strategic recommendations, designing scalable solutions, and bridging the gap between strategy, data, and execution, while progressively taking ownership of workstreams and stakeholder relationships. Our teams work on high-impact international engagements from offices in Barcelona, Madrid and Puerto Rico.
Key responsibilities
Problem solving
* Structure ambiguous business problems using hypothesis-driven and analytical approaches
* Translate business questions into frameworks, analytical plans, and insights
* Identify value creation opportunities across growth, operations, digital transformation, and organizational design
* Contribute to the design of future-state strategies and roadmaps
Analytics-enabled strategy
* Leverage data and advanced analytics to inform impactful decisions, rather than producing analysis for its own sake
* Guide the development of data-driven insights, models, and prototypes that support strategic recommendations
* Ensure analytical outputs are robust, scalable, and aligned with business value
Client engagement & communication
* Work directly with senior client stakeholders, managing expectations and driving alignment
* Present insights, recommendations and narratives in clear business language
* Collaborate with clients in an iterative manner to refine solutions and ensure adoption

* Lead the project progress and completion, with positive impact to your customers

Experience & Qualifications required
* 5 years or more years' of experience in strategy consulting, business transformation, analytics consulting, or fast-paced business environments
* Strong academic and solid background in Engineering, Business, Economics, or similar in referent universities or Business Schools
Proven experience in projects such as
* Designing KPI trees and performance frameworks across customer, operations, and finance
* Developing KPI taxonomies and reporting hierarchies for multi-business organizations
* Supporting supply chain optimization through analytics and performance systems
* Building executive dashboards and decision-support models
* Mapping and redesigning operating models, governance structures, and organizational roles
* Linking business strategy with ERP, CRM, BI, and planning systems
* Demonstrated ability to combine strategic thinking with analytical rigor
* Experience working in client-facing roles with senior stakeholders and operative teams
* Willingness to relocate or commute to Madrid
* Availability for international travel, when needed
* Business transformation, cultural transformation is a plus!
Analytical & technical acumen
* Strong understanding of data, analytics, and quantitative reasoning as inputs to strategy
* Ability to interpret, challenge, and leverage analyses built with Excel, SQL, Python, BI platforms, or planning tools
* Experience working alongside data scientists, engineers, and IT teams to translate insights into business decisions
Differentiators
* Experience in consulting boutiques or digital transformation programs – technology to business results
* Exposure to advanced analytics, machine learning, or AI-driven business applications
* Experience designing performance management systems or decision-support platforms
* Multilingual (Spanish and English is required; Catalan is welcome, additional languages valued)
* Puerto Rican nationality and/or legal authorization to work in Puerto Rico (US)
