As a Business Development Director, you will drive the growth of STRADE’s customer base and market presence within the EMEA region. Your mission will be to identify and seize new business opportunities—building connections, generating and nurturing leads, converting prospects into long-term partners, and establishing strategic agreements. You will represent STRADE within the aviation industry, strengthening our market position and expanding our network of buyers and sellers across the STRADE Marketplace. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on relationship management and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive sustainable growth.What You’ll Do:
Identify, engage, and build relationships with key stakeholders across airlines, MROs, lessors, OEMs, and traders to drive business development opportunities.Drive regional efforts to expand STRADE’s presence and market share by generating qualified leads and converting them into active users on both the buy and sell side of the marketplace.Secure buyer adoption and retention to ensure STRADE remains the preferred platform for aviation parts and services.Establish and maintain strong partnerships with new and existing customers to increase participation and volume on both the supply and demand sides.Oversee the success of onboarded sell-side contracts and ensure alignment with performance expectations.Collaborate with product, digital, marketing, customer support, and asset management teams to enhance marketplace offerings and digital features based on customer needs.Create compelling sales proposals and presentations that effectively communicate STRADE’s value proposition.Represent STRADE at major industry events, conferences, and trade shows to build relationships and increase brand visibility.Increase market share in line with company growth strategies for both buyer and seller segments.Achieve order intake targets aligned with financial objectives.Execute lead generation, prospect conversion, and close sell-side contracts with key regional clients.Ensure high engagement and satisfaction among buyers and sellers to support recurring marketplace usage and long-term success.Who You Are:
You hold a degree in business, digital technology, aviation, or a related field.You have 7–10 years of experience in business development or sales, ideally within the aviation industry and/or digital marketplaces.You have a proven track record in generating leads, converting prospects, and driving customer success.You demonstrate strong business acumen and are confident in negotiating with senior stakeholders.You are an excellent communicator, skilled at building relationships and delivering impactful presentations.You thrive in intercultural environments and can adapt your communication style across different audiences.You are fluent in English;
