**The key responsibilities include**:- Supervise and ensure compliance with feed safety and hygiene regulations at all stages of production, from the receipt of raw materials to the distribution of the final product.- Develop, implement, and oversee quality and feed safety management systems (HACCP, FAMI-QS, GMP+).- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations regarding food safety and animal nutrition. Maintain relations with relevant regulatory authorities.- Act as the point of contact in cases of crisis management and product recalls.- Coordinate internal and external audits, preparing reports and taking necessary corrective actions.- Verify and assess suppliers' compliance with regulations.- Supervise the quality control process from raw materials to the final product, including product sampling and analysis. Maintain and optimize the ingredient and finished product control plan.- Train and advise company personnel on best practices in food safety and quality control.- Collaborate with the technical and marketing departments for continuous product and process improvement. Work closely with other functional areas, such as Production, Research and Development, and Regulatory Affairs, to ensure product quality and compliance throughout the product lifecycle.- Manage non-conformities, develop corrective and preventive action plans, and follow up until their resolution.- Maintain up-to-date documentation related to quality and food safety.**Requirements**:- **Education**:University degree in Food Science, Chemical Engineering, Veterinary Science, Biotechnology, or a related field.- **Experience**:Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role in the animal feed industry or related sectors.- **Knowledge**:Solid understanding of quality and food safety standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 22000, HACCP, FAMI-QS, GMP+.- Experience in internal and external audits.- Strong leadership, organizational, and teamwork skills.- Good communication skills and attention to detail.- Intermediate-advanced level of English.**Desirable**:- Specific experience in the animal nutrition supplements industry.- Knowledge in formulation and product development for animal nutrition.- Training in international export regulations for food products.- Ability to communicate in English with the integral quality team.**We offer**:- Competitive salary based on experience and skills.- Professional development opportunities in a growing company with an international outlook.- A collaborative work environment focused on growth and development.- Continuous training in the area of quality and food safety.
