We are currently looking for a Data Engineer - GCP & dbt to join our Data & AI Product Chapter.
Responsibilities
* Design, implement, and optimize data pipelines and transformations using dbt and Dataform on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
* Manage and optimize BigQuery workloads, ensuring efficient data ingestion, availability, and cost-effective operations.
* Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) for cloud resources.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data architecture, best practices, and cost optimization strategies (FinOps).
* Automate deployments, testing, and CI / CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
* Work in Agile methodology, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
* Ensure proper documentation, monitoring, and observability of data pipelines and infrastructure.
Profile
* Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and data engineering in the cloud.
* Expertise in BigQuery, including ingestion, optimization, and workload management.
* Solid experience with dbt and Dataform for data transformations.
* Knowledge of Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
* Familiarity with FinOps principles, especially cost optimization for BigQuery and cloud resources.
* Experience in DevOps practices, including CI / CD with GitHub Actions.
* Agile mindset with ability to work independently and collaboratively.
* Excellent communication skills in English as it is a Must.
