Role Summary
The role of the Research Associate is to focus on candidate generation, relationship building and gaining market intelligence, ultimately supporting Page Executive and Partner's in their delivery of placements. The Research Associate is working hand in hand with the Partner's throughout the search process from attending or summarising the client briefing to successful delivery of a shortlist and data for pitches. The Research Associate will provide expertise and assistance to Partner's within their respective practice areas and geographical regions.
The Research Associate will be responsible for attendance at pitches and client briefings, defining company target lists, identification and approach of potential candidates, screening, activity reporting and document creation, as well as market mapping and salary benchmarking. They will work effectively nurturing key relationships, supporting the Partner and the wider business by generating talent pipelines for specific roles. This role is responsible for ensuring best service for the candidates including communication and process management, as well as lead generation for new roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support to Partner in business development, due diligence and execution of research assignments. This includes talent market research, identification of candidates and qualifying calls.
- Preparation, attendance and contribution to pitches alongside Partners, as well as attendance at client/candidate meetings to capture key information.
- Production of long and/or shortlists of candidates for ongoing assignments after thorough assessments of candidates.
- Obtain detailed assignment briefs to ensure clear sourcing direction to source and engage relevant candidates.
- Build, strengthen and maintain relationships with a network of candidates to leverage for future opportunities and commercial leads.
- Assessment of candidates for ongoing/future assignments including through screening calls, interviews and personality assessments.
- Development of a solid understanding of client/industries including specific information regarding their value proposition.
- Participation in research projects including talent market maps, salary benchmarking, industry practice reviews and more. Proactive monitoring of existing senior talents and rising talents within the broader market.
