Responsible for the operational management of distinct mid-size local / regional projects or mid-size projects within a program, ensuring that overall project objectives are clearly defined and met.
These projects are characterized by medium complexity, change, communication elements, and significant business impact.
Understands and applies different delivery approaches (waterfall, Scrum, ZurichLean) and independently performs project management processes to initiate, plan, execute, monitor, control, and close projects in accordance with the Zurich Project Management Framework and Zurich Risk Policy.
Your Role
The Program Delivery team within Investment Solutions (Investment Admin & Accounting) is responsible for delivering all changes related to FSCM.
The team collaborates closely with FSCM BAs and IT in each project.
As a Senior Project Manager, your main responsibilities include :
* Managing and delivering multiple small to medium-sized projects in Investment Accounting & Administration.
* Facilitating and coordinating the completion of deliverables with the project team.
* Ensuring the quality of project deliverables and removing impediments to deliver on time, within scope, and budget.
* Managing internal and external project dependencies.
* Communicating effectively with stakeholders, customers, and leadership to manage expectations and outcomes.
* Ensuring proper planning, information management, and decision-making processes are followed.
* Adhering to the Zurich Project Management Framework and PMO governance (project charter, budget, risk management, project plan, change requests, status updates, etc.).
Your Skills and Experience
Ideally, as a Senior Project Manager, you will have :
* 10-15 years of project management experience managing large, multi-functional, multi-geography projects in financial institutions.
* 3-5 years of experience managing Scrum / Agile projects.
* A PMP or equivalent certification.
* Ability to adapt to Zurich's preferred project management tools.
* Experience managing distributed teams in a multicultural environment.
* Good knowledge of investment instruments and accounting processes.
* Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience working with C-level stakeholders.
* Experience applying various project management methodologies (waterfall, Scrum, Agile, etc.).
* Knowledge of SAP TRM is a plus.
