About the RoleAs part of our drive for continuous improvement through the execution of our Digital Lifestyle strategy, this role will manage the technical and functional bridge between tax assurance processes and tools within each OpCo, delivered to HQ. Main objectives include:
Supporting the management of Tax Reporting procedures and deliverables to ensure high quality and timeliness.
Implementing improved and standardized tax reporting processes across the group to foster cross-functional and cross-technical synergies.
Ensuring accountability for the tax figures reported internally and externally, with a detailed understanding of their composition.
Supporting change management and stakeholder alignment by defining a tax operational excellence culture.
You will add value by collaborating with stakeholders to ensure high-quality project execution, taking responsibility for end-to-end processes and achieving overall objectives.
Responsibilities
Manage Group Tax Reporting deliverables in terms of timing and quality.
Review OpCo deliverables, clarifying or adjusting figures as necessary.
Review tax-related disclosures, internal or external.
Support the implementation of improved tax reporting solutions across the group.
Standardize local tax reporting processes within each OpCo, providing specific templates and tools.
Assist other areas (e.G., Accounting, Financial Planning) with tax issues arising from routine and non-routine transactions.
Communicate Group highlights to key stakeholders throughout the year.
Serve as the primary contact for relevant tax matters to OpCo tax managers.
Ensure SOX compliance across OpCos, Group, and HQ entities by managing process improvements.
Qualifications
At least 5 years of experience in a regional tax team or in-house HQ tax team, advising multinational groups on tax reporting.
Experience influencing remote teams and stakeholders.
Proven ability to develop and implement policies and guidelines.
Experience in designing and implementing tax digitalization solutions is a plus.
Required Skills
Graduate degree;
MBA preferred.
Proficiency in financial and accounting systems such as Oracle eBS, HFM, SAP;
certifications are a plus.
Strong knowledge of finance and tax concepts, IFRS, US GAAP, and IAS 12 knowledge is desirable.
Fluent in Spanish and English.
