We are looking for an International Key Account Manager DACH for one of our clients, a Spanish company currently expanding internationally.
This role is focused on managing and growing a key account in the DACH region within a retail / mass-market environment. We are especially interested in candidates with solid experience working with large retail chains, modern trade and consumer goods / FMCG accounts.
This is not a generalist sales role. We are looking for someone who understands the dynamics of high-volume retail, commercial execution, customer planning, promotions, stock availability and cross-functional coordination.
Location & Conditions
- Onsite role
- Travel: approx. 3–4 days/month to Austria and Germany
- Permanent contract
- Salary: around EUR 50,000 gross/year + bonus
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a key retail account in the DACH region
- Build strong relationships with major retail customers and internal stakeholders
- Coordinate orders, shipments and day-to-day commercial operations
- Monitor account performance through commercial and operational KPIs
- Follow up on sell-in / sell-out, forecasting, promotions, stock availability and customer planning
- Support launches and ensure strong customer execution
- Prepare and deliver commercial presentations in German
- Work cross-functionally with Sales, Logistics and Operations
What we are looking for
- 3+ years of experience as a Key Account Manager or in a similar role
- Proven experience managing large retail accounts, ideally in consumer goods, FMCG, modern trade or mass-market retail
- Experience working with major retail chains
- Strong commercial and operational mindset
- Experience with KPIs such as sell-in / sell-out, promotions, availability, forecasting and account performance
- Native or fluent German
- High level of English
- Availability to work onsite in Barcelona
- Availability to travel regularly to Austria and Germany
- Valid work permit for Spain
