Job Description
* Ensure the optimal functionality, safety, and technical readiness of simulators. This role combines hands-on preventive and corrective maintenance tasks with technical assistance and support functions. The objective is to maintain high availability and performance of the simulators while supporting the maintenance team with engineering insights and operational guidance.
* Maintain and/or repair flight training devices, full flight simulators, and other specific training devices according to authorities’ requirements and Flight Safety standards.
* Ensure operational readiness of the simulator’s usage by instructors and customers and verify aeronautical discrepancies.
* Perform installation, operation, inspection, periodic maintenance, design, modification, repair, customer configuration changes, and testing of electro-mechanical, mechanical, computer, and visual display components.
* Prepare and follow-up documentation and administrative tasks required by authorities for certifications. Ensure training devices are maintained according to published procedures and standards.
Qualifications
* Technical degree or certification in electronics, mechanical systems, networking management.
* Minimum two years of demonstrated competence through satisfactory progressive performance in electronic maintenance or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Two years of maintenance experience in all major areas, systems, and subsystems of simulator devices, including IT, networking, customer support, or equivalent experience.
* Good knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access; OS: Windows 7, Windows 10, LINUX; Electronic software knowledge.
* English B1 level.
* Quick learner with strong communication skills, learning agility, proactive, and accountable in all tasks.
