As a logistic intern within Samsung SDS Integral SCL Spain, we want you to learn from all our departments and even assume responsibility in your daily work.
\n
KEY ACTIVITIES
\n
Being a logistic intern in Samsung SDS we expect you learn and develop the following activities:
\n
- Daily operations of inbound/outbound from one of our main customers. Being in contact with Samsung SDS WEDC warehouse and destination hubs for both Spain and Portugal.
- Contact LSP to solve our daily incidences and attend customer ́s request for information for their orders.
- Prepare quotation for transports all over EU.
- Reporting on weekly basis, analysis and action plan to improve.
- Support the Business Development team with customer portfolio.
- Solving occurring (planning related) problems.
- Identifying bottlenecks and implementing improvements.
- Provide input regarding the planning system and perform test work.
- The (telephone) contact with suppliers, transporters and internal stakeholders regarding orders.
- Placing transport orders and processing them.
- Monitoring planned transports and responding immediately to any deviations.
- Additional administrative work.

We are looking for a candidate with strong social and communication skills towards the team and internal and external clients. Our ideal candidate is a decisive and flexible problem solver with a strong hands-on mentality who is used to working in teams. Our ideal candidate has:

- Degree related to logistics, supply chain management, international trade or business administration with passion for Logistics.
- A good command of English language in word and writing.
- Experience with Excel.
- Daily work from 9.00 to 18.00
- Able to work independently.
