We are looking for a **CLIL Editor **to carry out the editing of their editorial projects until the delivery to Production, both printed and digital materials, making sure that these materials conform to the editorial line defined and within the established calendar and budgetary framework for LOMLOE projects.Key accountabilities:- Prepare the author’s original work, creating the necessary pre-layout with the appropriate tools, treating the texts (bold, italics, highlights, enumerations...) and managing the orthotypographical and style correction of them.- Review and correct the drafts of the printed and digital materials under your charge, ensuring the overall efficiency of the process and focusing most of the corrections on content (not on layout).- Select photographs to illustrate the printed or digital product, always looking for the best possible relationship between didactic quality and cost, as well as selecting any other resources already available for immediate incorporation to the product that meet the conditions of quality and appropriate cost.- Review the digitization of activities and the digital product before passing it to the last validation of the head of its corresponding area for publication.- Comply with predefined dates and deadlines to ensure the completion of the project according to the schedule established for the area of publications in which it is integrated.- Anticipate risks and propose solutions to problems proactively to their superiors in the editorial organization of the department.- Stay within the established budgetary framework, as well as anticipate and solve problems to minimize costs.- Acquire thorough knowledge of educational legislation and competition publications, as well as familiarizing with the needs of teachers and students through market research conducted by Oxford Education and by the visits to educational centres, reporting the results to their superiors in the organization and the department.- Degree and master’s degree in Publishing desirable- 2 - 3 years previous experience as an editor (internal or external)- Previous experience as a teacher in Spain desirable- Good knowledge of TIC and MS Office- Knowledge of layout software (InDesign), image processing (Photoshop, Photofiltre, Paint), and of Adobe Pro desirable- C2 level or native speaker of EnglishWork-life balance is important to us at OUPE; therefore, we offer 22 days’ holiday and Christmas closure. We are currently working on a hybrid and adaptable model that blends of office and home working and expect this role to require approximately 2 days per week in the Madrid office.
