Copenhagen Infrastructure Service Company (CISC), a company working exclusively for the global fund management company Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), is currently looking for a Finance Manager to join the team in Madrid, Spain.
The Role
To advise and support the PowertoX projects and functional management, including effective and efficient financial project management assistance with day-to-day tasks, process optimization, and solutions to address our business needs and activities within the Finance domain such as accounting, treasury, controlling, and reporting activities.
More specifically, you will be responsible for budgeting and controlling, supporting budget preparation, commitments calculation, and monthly reforecasting, including actuals and deltas calculation for control and reporting purposes.
Additional responsibilities will include:
* Cash management (Actuals and Forecasting): Ensuring project liquidity by monitoring cash investments and deviations, ensuring timely receipt of accounts receivable, and monitoring cash flow.
* Contributing to building an efficient finance setup through process improvement and ensuring compliance with local government regulations.
* Delivering robust and detailed finance ad hoc analyses of investments, development, construction, and operational projects to help identify opportunities and risks.
* Preparing various reporting and executive presentations.
* Supporting the oversight of accounting and reviewing the company's financial statements to ensure accuracy. Performing accounting control activities for assigned areas on a monthly, quarterly, and year-end basis, including financial reconciliations and preparation of accounting records.
* Collaborating with external auditors, performing audit procedures and compliance testing, and preparing accounting records, workpapers, and reconciliations for audit review and compilation engagements.

The right candidate
Applicants should have a bachelor's degree in economics, accounting, audit, finance, or a related field with 5-10 years of experience in a Finance department, where they have developed financial skills through work at an audit firm, consultancy, or a multinational corporation.
