This role requires someone willing to think beyond traditional big pharma MSL roles and operate in an autonomous, entrepreneurial manner. Barcelona), and fluent in English for communication with the European management team, you will work alongside another Medical Manager based in Madrid. You will be responsible for developing and executing Medical Affairs strategies and projects in Spain, providing support to Sales and Marketing teams, with a demonstrated ability to identify commercial opportunities. You will report to the Lead Medical Managers Europe, with the European offices located in Amsterdam, Netherlands.Major Tasks & Responsibilities
Develop and execute Medical Affairs strategies and scientific projects, including publications and advisory boards.Build and maintain peer-to-peer relationships with KOLs and healthcare influencers using evidence-based information.Support product development and launch, particularly in melanoma, through scientific exchange.Assist with Early Access Program requests for melanoma patients in Spain.Support business needs related to Odomzo (sonidegib) for basal cell carcinoma.Lead the approval process for investigator-initiated trials and monitor their progress.Disseminate clinical and scientific information ethically and timely regarding marketed and pipeline products.Establish links with networks in Derma-oncology and other therapeutic areas.Communicate emerging data to experts and respond to healthcare professional inquiries.Support colleagues in organizing HCP events by providing medical content.Key Performance Indicators
Planning and executing medical tactics for new melanoma products.Increasing awareness of sonidegib among dermatologists and KOLs.Implementing peer-to-peer programs and engagement plans.Preparing targeted lists and organizing national symposia.Publishing medical abstracts, posters, and delivering scientific presentations.Collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.Qualifications, Knowledge, Experience & Skills
Graduate or postgraduate degree in biomedical or scientific field.Driver’s license.Minimum 3 years’ experience as an MSL or Medical Manager in innovative pharma.At least 1 year in a commercial role within pharma.Fluent in English.Desirable:
Dermatology or Oncology experience, and experience with Early Access Programs in Spain.Technical Skills & Competencies
