Business Controller IO & QA (FP&A) - Temporary
Location: SAB0 - PHARMA SANT ANDREU DE L, ES, ES - Spain
Mission
* Monitoring and improving the internal control processes assuring the consistence and the validation of the financial information in the area.
* Supervision of the internal and external guidelines compliance (e.g. compliance of the IFRS account guidelines, SCIFF, policies).
* Financial management and participation in the planning processes, Budget, Forecasting, and 5 years forecast, guaranteeing the compliance of the finance corporate guidelines and deadlines.
* Preparing monthly rolling forecast.
* Financial control and reporting of the assigned departments/business units and follow up with the business teams (costs, accruals, analysis, reporting, forecasting) and continuous monitoring of the expenses and capex by cost center, accounts and projects understanding the main cost drivers (risks & opportunities, force-out).
* Presenting the monthly opex and capex closing and forecasting/budgeting exercises to the Leadership Team.
* Preparing and analyzing the monthly area reporting and the corporate reporting package and ensuring the closing on time and quality.
* Acting as a Business Controller for budgeting, forecasting, reporting, coordination, analysis of business cases for support functions (e.g. IT, HR).
* Participation in transversal corporate projects.
* Improve and simplify the processes and align criteria with Corporate Finance.
* Financial support (Partnership) for the stakeholders creating healthy debates with the internal and/or external business partners and building a financial rigor in the discussions.
* The responsibility includes pharmaceutical and chemical plants for the territories of Spain and Germany.
Education
Degree in Economics, Business Administration, with interest in operations and industrial organization.
Experience
* Desirable to have worked in a similar position as a Business Controller
* Preferred to have experience and knowledge of the pharmaceutical sector
Skills
* Advanced user of SAP, BO and office software (Master in Excel).
* Proactive, analytical, critical, methodical and organised person.
* Good communication and presentation skills.
* High level of English (spoken and written).
