Currently, we are looking to strengthen our team in Ventós Barcelona by adding a Quality Control Technician.
Responsibilities: Perform quality control analysis on essential oils and aroma chemicals Carry out chemical tests according to internal specifications and industry standars Conduct organoleptic evaluations (taste and smell analysis) Operate and interpret results using GC-FID and GC-MS instruments Participate in the development, validation, and maintenance of analytical methods for gas chromatography Collaborate with the Regulatory Affairs teams to ensure product traceability and compliance Prepare reports, certificates, and documentation related to quality control Support the implementation of continuous improvement processes within the QA department Profile: Prepare reports, certificates, and documentation related to quality control Support the implementation of continuous improvement processes within the QA department Degree in Chemistry or related scientific field Desirable: Master's degree or proven expertise in Gas Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry Expertise in the Flavour and Fragance industry is a strong asset Familiarity with quality standards and analytical protocols in the chemical or cosmetics sector is valued Solid knowledge of organic and analytical chemistry Experience or interest in natural substances, chemical synthesis, and analytical method development High level of English is a must Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and ability to work independently Team spirit, flexibility and proactive attitude Additional Information: We offer a benefits package which includes: Adaptable working hours Free language classes and access to other training courses Health insurance Subsidized meals and breakfast service Corporate paddle tennis court for employees and their families Would you like to join our team?
