About the role

As IT Project Manager at Destinus, you report directly to the Director of IT and act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, turning ideas into delivered systems that matter. You´ll define scope and goals, plan and execute projects end to end, and use your strong technical background in architectures, API integrations, and the software development life cycle to guide decisions and challenge assumptions. Clear communication is key as you translate complex technical topics into real business value and align technical teams with business needs.

What You´ll Do
* Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
* Participate in architectural discussions and vendor selection processes to ensure solutions align with the company's long-term IT strategy.
* Translate business requirements into technical specifications for developers, engineers, system administrators.
* Manage the project roadmap, ensuring milestones are met on time and within budget while maintaining high technical quality.
* Serve as the point of contact between the IT department and other business units (Finance, Production, HR, Operations, Security).
* Identify and resolve dependencies, conflicts, roadblocks, uncertainties, optimistic and other scenarios.
* Be a go-to person for all schedules, short- and long-term priorities and status, at all levels of the company.
* Develop tools and processes improving productivity across all departments.
* Contribute to IT strategy discussions and propose ways of implementation, improvements to enhance performance, security, and reliability of IT systems.
* Participate in the creation of documentation of IT systems implemented, configurations, and processes.
What You'll Need
* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering.
* 5+ years of project management experience in an IT or Engineering environment.
* PMP or CSM certifications are a plus.
* Proven track of successful and timely project delivery, including financial and technical commitments under ambiguity.
* Experience working with multiple internal and external stakeholders and being a critical interface between cross-functional teams.
* Experience working in a larger team working on multiple interdependent projects.
* Familiarization with IT-related standards and participation in projects for their implementation (ISO27001, ABDO, NIS, etc. )
* Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD tooling.
* Experience with business continuity solutions and principles.
* Broad IT knowledge and hands-on experience across multiple domains (architectures, software development, different types of systems, cloud solutions, device management, networking, security).
* Deep understanding and practical application of Agile/Scrum frameworks as well as Waterfall methodologies for projects.
* Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, Asana, Microsoft Project.
* Ability to use of business modeling notations such as BPMN, UML, EPC, IDEF.
* Good level of English
