To maintain our sustainable growth process, we are looking to fill a permanent position in our Madrid or Bilbao offices as
Project Engineer for AC and HVDC Subsea Cable Technology (m / f / x))
Your Tasks
* Support subsea cable projects (AC and HVDC) with cable engineering, design, technology and manufacturing know -how
* Develop HV cable specifications for inner array or export cable systems
* Review cable design and manufacturing documents
* Prepare and attend supplier and factory audits as well as cable type tests, and support the cable manufacturing supervision
* Backoffice engineering for NCR and punch items from the cable manufacturing process
* Manage the interface to the cable installation
* Identify and report technical risks
* Contribute to the overall optimization of inner array grid layouts and export cable connections for offshore wind farms
* Report to package and / or project managers and liaise with colleagues from other work
Your Profile
* Master, Bachelor or equivalent in electrical or industrial engineering
* Several years of relevant subsea cable engineering experience
* Familiar with developing or working with EPC tender, design and manufacturing documents
* Experience in the field of high-voltage direct current (HVDC) and / or AC power transmission
* Experience in offshore wind and / or interconnector projects
* Fluency in English
* Willingness to undertake regular trips to the project countries
* Valid EU work permit
