We are seeking an Automation Software Engineer for our factory in Mataro.
Main objectives:
* Generate and control the software component of projects
* Design machine automation
* Coordinate with other departments
* Ensure project objectives are met
* Monitor planning
* Ensure proper operation of machines
* Troubleshoot issues
* Follow established standards and protocols
Main tasks:
* Manage project documentation and monitoring
* Define technical characteristics
* Complete project checklists
* Develop automation for machinery and industrial processes, including PLC and SCADA at the technical office
* Coordinate tasks of software support engineers
* Support the creation of work protocols
* Provide post-sale support related to automation parts
* Collaborate in developing standard software
* Participate in automation start-up processes

Professional experience: 3-5 years, aligned with the role's requirements
Skills and knowledge:
- Decision-making ability
- Teamwork skills
- Programming skills: Structured text, PLC programming (experience with Allen Bradley and CoDeSys valued), SCADA/HMI programming (experience with iFix and Indusoft valued), Motion or Robotics (experience with Stäubli valued)
