Overview
We are looking for a proactive and skilled Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join our international team. Reporting to the FP&A Capex Manager and focusing on Capital Expenditure (Capex) analysis, you will assist with annual and periodic budgeting, prepare and oversee the periodic reporting of Capex and its analysis with external and internal benchmarks, and bridge finance and business. You will be part of a young and dynamic team with an exceptional opportunity to shape your role as the team grows.
The FP&A Analyst will be based in Amsterdam, with a broader remit across the Portfolio Management, Asset Management, Developments, and Blackstone Real Estate Europe teams. The role supports Capex reporting and insights across multiple countries.

What you will do
* Develop a deep knowledge of the Capital Expenditure profile of properties across 11 countries. Oversee and report Capex spend from small repairs and maintenance to ground-up developments.
* Assist with developing and enhancing management reporting tools related to Capex historical spend and planned works. Prepare financial presentations and other projects requested by senior management.
* Collaborate with the Portfolio Management and FP&A teams to collect and analyze operational and financial data for projects, compare against targets, and explain overruns in the context of market conditions (inflation, supply chain, etc.).
* Build and maintain Excel models to ensure data quality for reporting.
* Assist in preparing budget forecasts at a granular level and support the long-term plan for portfolio improvement, liaising with cross-functional teams.
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for Capex reporting processes through data handling and solid business understanding.
What you will bring
* +3 years of experience in Accounting, FP&A or related field
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, or related field
* Strong numerical and analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work with large data sets
* Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
* Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with financial reporting and BI tools
* Thrives in a fast-paced environment and demonstrates a great team attitude with cross-cultural collaboration
* Hands-on, self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage time and priorities in a fast-moving environment
* Fluent in English, written and verbal
