The Role
As a Change and Release Manager, you’ll plan, implement, and control system and application updates, ensuring minimal disruption. You’ll own the entire change and release lifecycle, collaborating with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to guarantee proper testing, documentation, and scheduling. From creating release plans to managing approvals and resolving conflicts, you’ll keep everything on track. Your role goes beyond execution—you’ll monitor success, track KPIs, and lead post-implementation reviews, continuously improving processes for better efficiency. You’ll also act as the bridge between Digital Tech, Product teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors, aligning everyone to deliver seamless changes.
In This Role, You Will:
* Oversee and coordinate the global change management and release management processes for Nespresso's digital landscape, ensuring that IT system changes and software releases are conducted in a controlled and authorized manner.
* Develop and execute comprehensive change management and release plans that encompass timelines, resource allocation, and budget management, while ensuring effective communication and collaboration with key stakeholders.
* Analyze the potential impact of changes on business operations, systems, and processes, identifying and mitigating risks to minimize disruptions during IT changes and software releases.
* Conduct meetings with the Change Advisory Board (CAB) for higher-risk changes, track the progress of changes and releases, and ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery.
* Perform post-implementation and post-release reviews to assess the success of changes and releases, continuously identifying areas for improvement to enhance future processes.
* Engage and communicate effectively with stakeholders throughout the change and release process, providing clear and timely updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring stakeholder involvement.
* Maintain a deep understanding of the organization's IT infrastructure, Agile/DevOps methodologies, and product-based operations to effectively manage changes and provide necessary technical support.
* Strive for continuous improvement by evaluating outcomes, gathering feedback, and systematically reviewing failed changes to implement lessons learned and enhance change practices.
* Embrace automation and rethink approval models to streamline processes, reduce manual tasks, and develop a shift-left approach, while also creating and maintaining a training program for users and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure success.
What We’re Looking For:
* Change and Release Management Expertise: Strong knowledge and experience (10+ years of related experience) in change and release management methodologies, frameworks, and best practices are essential.
* Team Leadership and Development: Strong leadership skills are essential to motivate, guide, and develop your team.

* Communication and Influencing Skills: Effective communication is essential for engaging stakeholders, managing expectations, and driving adoption.
* Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical skills to assess the impact of changes applied in environments.
* Collaboration and Relationship-Building: Building strong relationships, fostering collaboration, and effectively managing conflicts are important for successful change implementation.
* Continuous Learning and Adaptability: The ability to stay updated with industry trends and evolving change and release management practices is important.
* Project Management Skills: Experience in project management, including planning, resource management, risk assessment, and stakeholder engagement.
Extra Skills That Set You Apart:
* Detailed understanding of change, configuration and release management processes based on ITIL.
* Good understanding of incident and problem management processes based on ITIL.
* Good understanding of agile development methodology and DevOps.
