Overview
Vall d’Hebron Hospital, within the framework of the Health Services Research Group, is seeking a Health Services Analyst to analyse, interpret and support the dissemination and publication of data related to healthcare management interventions.
Responsibilities
* Identify available data sources and generate actionable insights to support structural or management changes.
* Perform statistical analyses and interpret results to support the continuous improvement of hospital management indicators.
* Search for scientific evidence and contribute to discussions on studies focused on improving healthcare activity.
* Participate in the production of scientific articles demonstrating the impact of continuous improvement strategies and implemented strategic projects.
* Prepare scientific communications on the results derived from the implementation of new programmes or organisational models.
Education and qualifications
* Required: Bachelor’s degree in Sciences, preferably in Health Sciences, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or related fields.
* Desirable: Master’s degree in Data Analytics or Data Science. Fluency in Catalan, Spanish.
Experience and knowledge
* Desirable: Knowledge of information systems and business intelligence or statistical tools such as SQL and R.
* Experience in data analysis within the healthcare sector.
Labour conditions
* Working hours: Full-time (37,5 hours per week).
* Starting date: As soon as possible.
* Gross annual salary: 28.251,56€.
* Contract type: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to project activities.
