Future Learning is currently looking to expand our international sales team and is seeking a highly motivated, energetic, experienced, and confident Regional Business Developer to manage our Spanish and some EU markets while based in Spain.
EU Regional Business Developer - based in SpainAs an EU Regional Business Developer, you will work in international sales as a high-energy, confident salesperson driven to achieve sales targets across all channels and markets. Reporting to the EU Senior Sales Executive, your responsibilities will include retaining and developing existing clients, securing new customers and routes to market, and supporting the development of new and innovative Future Learning projects.
The ideal candidate is creative, energetic, positive, detail-oriented, fun, and a team player. Being organized and driven with close attention to detail is key to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive repeat sales through B2B and B2C relationships/networks.
Generate new sales opportunities via additional relationships, routes to market, and creative product offerings.
Maintain all sales opportunities in the CRM system, monitor leads, opportunities, and pipelines.
Respond promptly and effectively to all leads and inquiries.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure the deliverability and profitability of new business proposals.
Achieve specific sales targets for new Future Learning centers.
Champion new centers internally and externally.
Identify in-country opportunities for Future Learning and attend external events such as conferences and exhibitions.
Travel as required to visit clients and prospects within your assigned region.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the international market, monitor trends and competitor activity, and report on market intelligence.
Meet annual sales targets and KPIs, and provide progress reports to directors.
Develop a network for market intelligence and new business opportunities.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of Future Learning’s programs.
Manage and develop key accounts and customer expectations.
Contribute to strategic planning and develop the FL brand in additional EU countries.
Assist with translation, design, and production of marketing materials in Spanish.
Key Personal Goals:
Identify new sales agents and partners in Spain, Portugal, and other regions as requested.
Enhance relationships with existing agents, partners, and suppliers.
Achieve sales targets and be a team player.
Use customer feedback for portfolio improvements.
Develop bookings in adult and young learner sectors.
Candidate Requirements:
Based in Spain.
Bachelor’s degree in Sales and Marketing or equivalent.
Fluent in Spanish and English;
additional EU languages(Portuguese, French, German) are a plus.
At least 3 years of experience in the International Language Education Industry.
Experience in account management, sales, or marketing.
Excellent interpersonal, IT, organizational, and administrative skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team, with high attention to detail.
Comfortable with numbers, financials, spreadsheets, and travel.
Customer-focused, professional, and presentable.
Willing to travel, with a driving license preferred.
Experience with digital marketing and CRM systems is desirable.

Benefits:
National holidays in Spain (region-dependent).
Company mobile phone, travel expenses, and contract hours aligned with Spanish working hours.
Service fee €21,000 to €24,000/year + commission, with potential total package €33,000 to €36,000+ based on performance.
Additional Information:
Travel overseas and work extra hours or weekends for trade shows and events will be required. Fluency in Spanish is essential;
knowledge of Portugueseor other EU languages is a plus. The role involves developing the FL brand in additional EU countries and may include translation and marketing material support.
