EDI Subject Matter Expert
Location: Granollers, Spain
Responsibilities
EDI enhancements and changes: Implement enhancement requests for European EDI messages, clarify detailed business and technical requirements, coordinate required SAP change requests where applicable.
New partner implementations: Implement new European EDI partner requests, define and validate technical requirements for new message flows, coordinate SAP‐related changes when required.
Support and troubleshooting: Provide 4th‐level support for complex EDI processing issues, use appropriate ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, collaborate with offshore support teams on complex incidents.
Development oversight: Coordinate offshore development activities when applicable, review deliverables, unit tests, and quality of implementations, prepare solutions for customer testing.
Cross‐platform contribution: Support non‐EDI iWay interface enhancements when capacity allows, collaborate with A2A teams and other middleware architects, share knowledge across regions and teams.
Qualifications
Hold a bachelor's degree in Information Systems or equivalent experience.
Have 3–5 years of experience implementing and supporting EDI systems.
Have strong knowledge of UN/EDIFACT and EANCOM standards.
Possess senior‐level experience with middleware platforms such as SAP PI, SAP CPI, WebMethods, IBM WebSphere, Seeburger, or similar.
Are fluent in English (other languages appreciated).
Nice to Have
Knowledge of TRADACOM and ANSI‐X standards.
Java programming skills.
Experience with iWay Service Manager development.
Knowledge of SAP iDocs, monitoring, configuration, and testing.
Basic knowledge of Windows servers, networking, firewalls, and AS2.
Understanding of SAP sales and distribution processes.
