As we continue to expand, we are seeking aFinancial Accounting Specialist to support our financial operations, implement efficient accounting processes, and ensure the company’s financial health. This role will be key inestablishing strong financial foundations as we scale our business.
About the Role
We are looking for a highlyorganized and detail-oriented Financial Accounting Specialist to oversee the company's financial operations, ensuring accuracy in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and budgeting. This role will be responsible for implementing anonsite accounting software system, maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and collaborating with external financial advisors and management.
As the company evolves, this position has the potential to transition into afully remote role.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintainaccurate financial records, including incoming and outgoing invoices.
* Ensuretimely processing of payments and overseeaccounts payable/receivable .
* Reconcilebank statements and financial transactions.
Software Implementation & Optimization
* Assist in setting up and optimizing the company'sonsite accounting software (SAP BUSINESS ONE) .
* Ensuresmooth integration with other financial tools and reporting systems.
Budgeting & Financial Planning
* Develop and manage the company’sbudget and financial forecasts.
* Analyze financial performance and recommend improvements.
* Trackcash flow and financial trends to ensure company stability.
* Preparemonthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, balance sheets, and income statements.
* Monitor the company'sfinancial health and propose strategies for cost optimization.
* Collaborate with external accountants and tax advisors (gestor ) to ensure compliance withlocal regulations .
Payments & Tax Coordination
* Overseepayroll processing and ensure timely employee payments.
* Handletax-related payments and filings in coordination with the gestor.
* Ensure properVAT filings and compliance with tax laws.
Process Improvement
* Implementbest practices for financial management and internal controls.
* Streamline processes forefficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
Requirements & Qualifications
* Proven experience in accounting, financial planning, or a related role.
* Strong knowledge ofaccounting software (preferably SAPE BUSINESS ONE) .
* Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
* Ability to analyze financial data and createbudget plans and forecasts.
* Strong understanding offinancial reporting, balance sheets, and cash flow management .
* Experience collaborating withgestors/accountants for tax and compliance matters.
* Ability to workindependently and remotely while maintaining efficiency and accuracy.
* Good communication skills inEnglish and Spanish (preferred but not mandatory).
