We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in mechanical system design and validation, ideally within the Defence and Space sectors. The ideal candidate will contribute to complex engineering projects, supporting the development, validation and documentation of mechanical solutions in demanding operational environments.
Responsibilities
Design and validate mechanical systems for Defence and Space applications.
Contribute to mechanical engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle.
Prepare and manage technical dossiers and engineering documentation.
Use CAD tools to develop and maintain mechanical designs.
Perform engineering analyses using Python for mathematical and numerical calculations.
Work with SAP and PLM tools for configuration, documentation and lifecycle management.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated system solutions.
Support compliance with internal processes and sector‑specific engineering requirements.
Qualifications
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
More than 5 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering.
Advanced knowledge in mechanical system design and validation.
Experience in Defence and Space sectors.
Advanced experience with CAD tools, particularly Siemens NX (3–4 years).
Advanced skills in Python oriented to mathematical analysis (similar to MATLAB).
Experience working with SAP and PLM tools.
Advanced knowledge in mechanical engineering documentation and technical dossiers.
Approximately 4–5 years of experience in mechanical engineering roles within Defence and Security environments.
Professional fluency in English.
