The Global XVA Desk manages fair value adjustments and economic risks arising from BBVA Global Markets derivatives and SFT transactions. It is a cross-asset trading desk responsible for credit and funding risk adjustments in non-collateralised and partially collateralised transactions, wrong-way risk exposures, bond-collateralised agreements, collateral posting options and more broadly any cross-product economic adjustment relevant to BBVA Global Markets activity.About the job
As a Junior XVA Trader your responsibilities will include :Joining a global cross-asset trading team with hubs across three regions.Assisting in the pricing of XVA adjustments for derivatives and SFT transactions executed globally.Supporting the analysis and execution of market strategies to manage the complex cross-asset exposures of the Global Markets XVA portfolio.Contributing to the development and enhancement of tools and models that support all aspects of the Global Markets XVA agenda.Qualifications
Strong technical background, degree in Physics, Mathematics, Engineering or Economics (required).Background in Financial Mathematics is highly valued.Previous experience in a financial role is highly valued.Up to 3 years of work experience is valued.Team player who is able to perform under pressure.Languages
