Key Accounts Manager Spain / LATAM
Summary: Position reports directly to the Director EMEA Power Plants, based in Madrid, Lyon, or other relevant cities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Initiate and manage strategic cooperation with Key Accounts across the region to increase Maxeon product share.
* Recommend strategies to increase market share within EPC, IPP, and Utility segments.
* Lead negotiations of PV supply primarily with Key Accounts based in Spain and Portugal.
* Coordinate activities with operations and procurement teams to ensure consistency and competitiveness in pricing, proposals, and contracts across markets.
* Maintain knowledge of market trends, regulations, and tariffs related to the solar industry.
Related Experience:
* Ability to oversee, manage, and grow opportunities in a large cross-border territory.
* Proven 'hunter' mentality with a track record of independently achieving results in a dynamic, growing, and competitive market.
* Experience in contract negotiations, especially PV supply contracts with IPP and EPC across different countries.
* Familiarity with financial analysis tools for project investment assessments.
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills; team-oriented mindset.
* Ability to promote premium products and value-based sales.
Education and Other Requirements:
* Graduate degree in Engineering or Business.
* 10 to 15 years of business experience in the solar and/or energy industry, involving complex sales over multiple quarters.
* Proven ability to drive sales growth and meet targets.
* Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced industry.
* Excellent organizational and communication skills.
* Fluent in Spanish (native) and English.
