WPO currently operates across 14 European countries through 48 offices or service points, windfarms, solar and BESS sites. /ppbr/ppbThe Role /b /ppWe are looking for an experienced and proactive bHSEQ Manager /b to join our European team in a fully remote position. This role will primarily support operations across Spain, while also providing guidance and operational support to teams based in the UK, Ireland, and Germany. Whilst this position will be based from home, the role involves travel to WPO operational sites (up to 25%) and working closely with WPO operational teams to promote a strong HSEQ culture across multiple countries while ensuring the effective continuous improvement of WPO’s Integrated Management System (IMS). /ppbr/ppbKey Responsibilities /b /pulliSupport HSEQ activities for operations across Spain /liliSupport operational teams in the UK, Ireland, and Germany when required /liliMaintain and monitor the WPO’s HSEQ integrated management system /liliEnsure ongoing compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards /liliEnsure compliance with local and European HSEQ regulations and standards /liliConduct regular HSEQ audits and inspections across our renewables’ assets /liliCoordinate the compilation of HSEQ audits’ findings in our tracker tool and ensure timely closure /liliParticipate in HSEQ events reporting, investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action planning /liliReview and update risk assessments /liliOrganise and document regular HSEQ meetings with contractors (OMs…). /liliSource training, according to the Group Training Matrix, as and when required ensuring compliance to European standards where applicable /liliMaintain PPE register ensuring compliance with deadlines (statutory inspections), competitive pricing and ‘fit for purpose’ requirements /liliAssist operational teams with HSEQ queries (emergency response, induction….) /liliPromote a proactive and positive safety culture across all regions /li /ulpbr/ppbYour Profile /b /pulliMinimum 5 years’ experience in a similar HSEQ role, ideally in the renewables sector /liliExperience supporting multi-site or multi-country operations /liliStrong knowledge of Spanish HSEQ legislation and European standards /liliPractical experience with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 certifications and audits /liliGood IT skills, particularly MS Word Excel and Office 365 Tools /liliDemonstrable organisational skills are essential /liliExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal format to clients, staff and third parties alike /liliCapable of working under your own initiatives and to targets /liliAbility to work independently and travel regularly to remote sites /liliPractical, hands-on approach with strong interpersonal skills /liliFluent in English (written and spoken) /liliSpanish language skills are highly desirable /liliValid driving license required /li /ulpbr/ppbWhat We Offer /b /pulliA hybrid role combining home office and field-based activities. /lili28 days’ paid vacation annually, plus bank holidays. /liliProfessional growth in a purpose-driven, European renewable energy company. /li /ul
