The UCAM-SENS unit is looking for an experienced Postdoctoral Researcher in Biomedical Wearable Sensors
The UCAM-SENS research unit is seeking a highly motivated and experienced postdoctoral researcher specializing in biomedical wearable sensors. If you have a strong track record in designing and testing innovative epidermal and intradermal sensors for ions, biomolecules, proteins, or hormones, we encourage you to apply.
In this role, you will lead a multidisciplinary team of postdocs, PhD students, and research trainees, contributing to cutting-edge developments in wearable technology.
Requirements
Technical Expertise
* Experience in designing and fabricating novel epidermal wearable sensors.
* Integration of chemical and biochemical sensors into wearable devices.
* Advanced knowledge of electrochemistry and microfluidics.
* Basic proficiency in electronic circuitry, firmware, and electrical connections.
* Analytical validation and on-body assessment.
Skills
* Strong academic leadership and team management.
* Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
* Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written).
Qualifications
* PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering (completed).
Research Outcomes
* At least 5 peer-reviewed publications in biomedical wearable sensors (attach with application).
