Temporary recruitment of research staff for the research project Digital transition towards an advanced industry in artificial intelligence solutions for the transport infrastructure sector (INARTRANS 4.0).
The tasks to be carried out within the PLEC2023-010343 project are:
* Review of the state of the art in VQA (Visual Question Answering) architectures.
* Development of a VQA architecture that allows the supervisor to ask questions about the environment and the system to respond to the questions asked.
* Design of a co-pilot based on a multimodal perception system with VQA capabilities that allows objectives to be safely replanned.
* Validation of the co-pilot in an open loop using available open databases.
* Validation of the co-pilot on a realistic CARLA-type simulator or similar.
Full-time commitment: 37.5 hours/week. Supervisors: Dr. Luis Miguel Bergasa/Dr. Rafael Barea. Department of Electronics. Monthly remuneration: €1,982 (in 12 payments, including the proportional part of extraordinary payments, for all items).
Required degree: Graduate in Industrial Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering (electronics, telecommunications, telematics, technologies), Computer Engineering, or accreditation of level 6 of the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) for EHEA degrees.
