MPS is seeking an energetic, efficient, self-motivated and resourceful team player to be a member of its accounting staff supporting our European subsidiaries.
The AP Accountant reports to Accounting Manager and will be based in Barcelona, Spain.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
* AP / AR processing for SW and other EU entities
* Data Entry – Processing of invoices
* Reconciliation of purchase invoices with purchase orders
* Resolve payment issues and answer payment questions from company vendors
* Account reconciliation and help with month-end processes
* Customs clearance answering to document requirements from authority
* Organizes courier deliveries end to end including documentation
* Supports purchase requisitions for operations, facilities and Admin
* Ad-hoc projects as needed
QUALIFICATIONS :
* BS / BA in business, accounting, administration or related field
* 3-5 years' experience
* Intermediate knowledge of Excel
* Fluent in Spanish, English (C1) and German
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Excellent analytical and organization skills
