A load balancing solution based on HAProxy Enterprise Edition for services running on DT K8s platform has been developed. The project at hand aims to optimize that solution in terms of redundancy and automated provisioning. One aspect is the operational part for this solution which includes operation of the automation solution, onboarding of customers etc.
Activity Description And Concrete Tasks
- DevOps for gLB‑PSA procedure (SDSK, IT checklist, BC/DR tests)
- Budget planning – Documentation
- Life‑cycle measures: planning and design, software and firmware update, security management, data backup and deletion
- ITIL processes: Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Config Management
System Management
- Provision of performance metrics
- Monitoring and enabling first‑line support
- Proactive monitoring of NE
- Vulnerability management
- Interface with third‑party vendors in the context of problems/incidents
- BIS/BOOS process: Bring Into Service, Bring Out Of Service
- Automation solutions
- On‑call / stand‑by duty (every 5‑7 weeks)
- Occasional night shifts to introduce network changes
