Looker / LookML Specialist
The Role
As a Looker / LookML Specialist, you will work at the intersection of data, technology, and business, helping our clients turn complexity into clarity and insights into impact. You will collaborate with data engineers, consultants, and business stakeholders to translate data into meaningful insights, building robust semantic layers and scalable analytics models.

Working hours: Full-time (40h/week)
Your Impact in This Role
Design and develop LookML models that support reliable and scalable analytics
Build and maintain dashboards and Explores in Looker
Collaborate with data engineers to align data models with upstream pipelines
Work closely with business users to understand reporting and analytics needs
Ensure data consistency, performance, and usability across analytics layers
What Makes This Role Challenging
Translate complex data structures into business-friendly analytics models
Work in client-facing, delivery-oriented environments
Balance technical rigor with usability and performance
Collaborate across teams and geographies as part of the day-to-day
What We’re Looking For
Must-haves
Strong hands‑on experience with Looker and LookML modeling
Solid understanding of analytics engineering and semantic layer concepts
Experience working with modern data platforms (e.G., BigQuery)
Ability to translate business requirements into analytical models
Comfort working in client-facing environments
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Fluency in English
Must be a Portuguese or European citizen, or hold a valid work permit for Portugal or Spain
Nice-to-haves
Experience working with Google Cloud Platform
Exposure to consulting or analytics delivery projects
Experience supporting self‑service BI use cases
