We're looking for a Monitoring Configuration Engineer to join our development team in Spain!
✅ Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in IT or relevant technical roles
- Strong hands-on experience with Prometheus and PromQL
- Experience with logging, monitoring, and alerting tools, such as ELK Stack, Grafana, etc.
- Solid understanding of infrastructure components such as:
- Kubernetes (k8s)
- Bare metal servers
- Databases (e.g., MySQL, Redis)
- Message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, NATS, Kafka)
Familiarity with any scripting language (e.g., Python, JavaScript) Experience with SQL – nice to have Understanding of incident management workflows and SLIs/SLOs is a plus Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) – nice to have
✅ Responsibilities & Opportunities
- Design, implement, and manage scalable monitoring and alerting systems for applications, infrastructure, and business processes
- Implement and maintain Monitoring as Code
- Continuously optimize alert configurations to reduce noise and improve relevance
- Analyze logs and metrics to identify patterns, anomalies, and root causes of incidents
- Collaborate with development and business teams to shorten MTTA and improve incident response
- Help define and track Service Level Indicators (SLIs) and Service Level Objectives (SLOs)
- Take part in building and refining dashboards and reporting systems for system health and performance
