Mission
As proposal engineer, your mission is to provide tailored and accurate proposals for Atlas Copco parts and service solutions, ensuring alignment with customer needs. This role involves collaboration with internal teams, analyzing technical requirements, and delivering solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and drive business growth.
Role
You will master basic quotation tools and applications, have good communication skills, and show the value of Atlas Copco solutions to customers.
Job Description
* Analyze service reports to identify needed parts and/or services for proposal creation.
* Pursue more complex projects (i.e. service repairs, overhauls, VSD, element or drive motor replacement, etc.) coming from either customer inquiries, sales visits, and service leads.
* Prepare detailed and customized proposals for parts and service based on customer specifications and requirements.
* Ensure all parts and service proposals are done using IQ2 and CRM tool (C4C).
* Ensure that prepared proposal will meet customer requirements and is compliant with Atlas Copco standard terms and conditions.
* Coordinate with sales and service teams to gather the necessary information for accurate proposals.
Experience
* Candidates must have 3+ years’ experience in an engineering‑related field. Technical experience with Atlas Copco is a plus.
Knowledge & Skills
* Technical understanding of Atlas Copco equipment (Compressors, Dryers, Nitrogen/Oxygen systems, etc.) is a plus.
* Experience in the use of CRM tool (C4C) is a plus.
* Good administrative and personal discipline to handle multiple tasks and time‑constrained activities, driven by customer requirements.
* Ability to work as part of a team. Good interpersonal and communication skills for communicating with colleagues in supporting functions.
* Self‑motivated, with ability to plan and achieve agreed targets.
