Job Description Summary:
We are looking for an Asset Manager to assist with ensuring VECTOR RENEWABLES to manage a portfolio of approx. 85MW renewable assets (2 wind farms and 1 solar) safely and efficiently in compliance with local law, permits and corporate procedures. The (3) assets are currently located in Spain (Castilla-Leon and Aragon) and more assets will be added in the next years
Job Description:
Main Responsibilities:
* Manage the service contracts and related warranties fulfilment with the support of Technical Services and Performance Engineering departments: ensuring and monitoring, according to guidelines and technical instructions, the planned maintenance interventions, and the unplanned maintenance activities for the correct and regular operation of the renewable assets. Planning and managing O&M services and spare parts’ management. Ensuring the identification and implementation of all possible interventions to improve performance of the renewable assets and O&M activities
* Supervision of the site operation team including in depth site inspections: frequent travels to the sites are likely required.
* Daily monitoring of the performance of the portfolio by means of an internal monitoring tool.
* Reporting to the Asset Owners, technical reports, KPIs, the main parameters of the performance of the assets and financial status (feed in tariff, energy selling) according to the contractual obligations.
* Contracting of different services to be performed by third parties in the facilities and supervision of the contracts. Claiming and supervision of the insurance claims in coordination with the Insurance Manager.
* Coordination with all the bodies involved in the operation (CNMC, REE, Market Agent, Municipalities, Region/Province administrative bodies, etc.) to comply with the obligations and current regulation.
* Knowledge of the regulatory framework and PPAs contracts
* Support the OPEX and production budgeting, control the process for the business-related PRs/POs and invoices
* Help the management of the service contracts and related warranties fulfilment with the support of QHSE, Technical Services and Performance Engineering departments
* Maintain and update for each asset the permits tracker, the obligations register, the documental archive. Maintain the appropriate updates of the technical regulations of the sector.
* Support SPVs governance with proper monthly reports reporting the asset performances and with the engagement with local communities and authorities and with the project partners (technical/financial reporting)
* Support insurance broker relationship for any claim assessment and follow up
* Support the PPA management, the energy offtake, and the revenue calculation activities
Key Requirements:
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in the same or similar role
* Preferred school background: Master's/Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent
* Fluent in English
* Knowledge of photovoltaic and / or wind technology and electrical systems in LV, MV and (possibly) HV.
* GWO certificate (basic safety and work at height) highly appreciated
* Good knowledge of a complex ERP (a prior experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 will be highly evaluated)
* IT literate with advanced skills and experience in Microsoft Office package
* Understanding of accounting and financial rules and principles
