Driveability | Ride & Handling e-Powertrain Expert
We are searching for highly motivated engineers with an excellent background in e-powertrains and a good level of English and Spanish to work in our team at Valladolid.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Calibration of e-powertrain regarding torque demand, regenerative braking, and other driveability-related functions.
* Dataset development and validation to meet requirements in all ambient conditions.
* Planning and execution of a vehicle testing program.
* Analysis of results and preparation of recommendations.
* Reporting of results to the project board.
YOUR PROFILE:
* Education: Mechanical/Automotive or similar Engineering degree.
* Master's or Ph.D. is desirable.
* Understanding of powertrains and vehicle dynamics.
* Competences in ETAS INCA, Vector Canalyzer, AVL Concerto, AVL Creta, DDT2000; Matlab Simulink.
* More than 5 years of experience in automotive industry topics (calibration, validation, software development) is desirable.
* Expertise in e-powertrain calibration (regenerative braking, torque vectoring, chassis dynamics, ...).
* Knowledge of high voltage components such as BMS (Battery Management System), Inverter (Electric Motor).
* English required; Spanish highly desirable; French is a plus.
* High sense of responsibility, goal-oriented, and social skills.
* Extra-curricular activities like Formula Student are a plus.
* Driving license required.
