The Store Manager will join our team reporting to the Area Manager supporting the development of an energetic team that is focused on maintaining exceptional levels of customer service.
Overview
What you will do, in summary, is lead store performance, develop the team, manage client relationships and ensure store operations meet Versace standards.
Responsibilities
Analyze the business, propose action plans to reach qualitative and quantitative objectives, improve results, and support key business strategies
Partner with the Area Manager to maximize sales and margin goals
Responsible for the sales and KPI performance of the store
Prepare periodical reporting on competitors, products, potential opportunities
Analyze sell-through and liaise with divisions on product availability and market trends to maximize productivity
Develop business strategies, set achievable goals and targets and implement incentives to boost sales
Team Management
Set personalized objectives for the year for every team member and follow up to develop behavior, performance and capabilities
Create and foster a dynamic environment, motivate employees to maximize team spirit, promote teamwork and maintain harmonious staff relations
Set achievable goals, ensure staff follows Company guidelines and is accountable for achieving set goals
Effectively manage all HR functions to support the team
Attract, develop and lead a high-performance team through training, coaching and motivational activities
Motivate the team to drive results through coaching, accountability and celebrating successes
Ensure in-store follow-up after trainings on brand, products, operations and soft skills
Plan and conduct daily and weekly in-store briefings to motivate the team and set objectives
Support onboarding of new staff and participation in the onboarding experience
Ensure staff appearances are groomed, professional, and knowledgeable on product information
Client Management
Ensure superior customer service standards through team follow-up to deliver the Versace experience
Be a brand ambassador and build relationships with Versace clients
Encourage team to focus on the customer experience during a Versace interaction
Develop and expand the customer base by engaging high-profile clientele and driving sales
Maintain active relationships with clients and stay attuned to market needs
CRM
Monitor the team’s management of customer databases and maximize sales opportunities
Implement and manage the boutique’s community outreach to maintain relationships with clients
Support in-store and promotional events, coordinating with merchandising and PR teams
Store Management and Operations
Ensure stock and backroom operations are managed (receiving, transfers, stock takes, reporting)
Maintain security and inventory accuracy to minimize shrinkage
Comply with operational and company policies and procedures
Maintain store presentation and visual merchandising standards per directives and participate in VM setup
Demonstrate operational excellence in all store processes, including budgeting and expense management
YOU’LL NEED TO HAVE
3-5 years of experience in retail management — luxury experience preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion or Business preferred
Full understanding of specialty retail, including business development, visual merchandising and store operations
Computer skills including POS, Word, Excel and email
Strong relationship skills and ability to maintain long-term client relationships
Strong team management skills with potential to develop people
Confidence, organizational skills, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Ability to thrive in a high-paced environment and multi-task while maintaining daily responsibilities
Positive, sales-focused mindset with ownership attitude
