Role Summary
The Global Export and Agency Finance Analyst will be based out of Boadilla (Madrid) and will be part of the front‑office origination and execution platform for Export Credit & Agency financing.
Responsibilities
- Support senior team members in the structuring and execution of ECA‑covered financing transactions, globally.
- Contribute to business development activities, including new ECA products, opportunity screening and coordination with bankers and ECAs.
- Drive internal coordination processes across relevant stakeholders (Legal, Compliance, E&S;, Syndication, Middle Office, Project Finance, etc.).
- Prepare high‑quality internal and external materials, ensuring strong analytical content and professional presentation standards.
- Support the coordination of the execution process through internal approval stages (business committees, risk approvals, legal and middle office sign‑off, etc.).
- Actively participate in the structuring and documentation phase, with particular focus on core finance documentation and ECA policies.
- Contribute to the development of value‑added financing solutions, supporting the evolution of more complex structures.
- Contribute to a versátil, dynamic and team‑oriented working culture.
Professional Experience
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in advisory and/or lending roles within Structured Finance, Project Finance and/or Export Finance. (Required)
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Engineering. (Required)
Languages
- English and Spanish mandatory. (Required)
- German and/or French and/or other considered a plus. (Preferred)
Hard Skills
- Solid understanding of Export Finance and/or non‑recourse financing structures and related legal and contractual frameworks. (Required)
- Strong structured finance fundamentals and ability to assess transaction risks. (Required)
- Ability to analyze and address contractual, commercial and technical issues. (Required)
- Strong interdisciplinary skills across financing, structuring and documentation. (Required)
- Excellent PowerPoint and presentation skills. (Required)
- Financial modelling skills are an advantage. (Preferred)
- International experience is highly valued. (Preferred)
Soft Skills
- Strong communication, organizational and process management skills.
- Proactive and hands‑on attitude, with the ability to take initiative and propose solutions in a demanding environment.
