Full-time Research Assistant II in the Department of Psychiatry, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: ) (to commence as soon as possible for one-year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above, in psychology, preferably with previous work experience in mental health related research projects and proficiency in statistical programming (e.g. R preferably, and SPSS as well). They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese), proficiency in statistical knowledge, and a strong commitment to high quality research.
Candidates are expected to have good organizational, communication, interpersonal skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to prioritize work and maintain a high level of effectiveness. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
The post provides a good opportunity for professional growth through close work with Professor Heidi Lo on project administration, hands-on experience in clinical interview, sharpen diagnostic skills under psychiatric guidance, and supporting students within the team.
The appointee will have access to clinical notes, conduct interview, engage with persons living with mental disorders, and work with doctors/ future-to-be doctors. He/ She will also assist in data management, and meetings, enhancing professional and communication skills.
